MAJO LOVO (mah-jo low-vo) is an American folk music duo from Raleigh, NC composed of husband and wife John Vogler and Martique Lorray.  MAJO LOVO blends traditional folk, heartland rock, freak folk, americana and country.

Martique Lorray: singer, songwriter, vocalist, guitar, percussion

Born in Miami, FL., Martique began her musical adventure with the all female band W.O.M.B. Warriors of Make Believe as the bassist, vocalist and co-songwriter. She enjoys facial hair, her whiskey “straight-up” and her brussel sprouts burnt.

John Vogler: singer, songwriter, vocalist, guitar

Born in Winston Salem, NC., John began writing and performing original music while living in Chapel Hill, NC. and throughout an eight year adventure in Hawaii. He is deft at harmonizing and raising his right eyebrow. He has a weakness for all things tomato.
